Typical Danish lunch



This shows a typical lunch table with Danish rye bread (rugbrød), pork meatball (frikadeller), pate (leverpostej), pickled herring (sild), smoked salmon, shrimp and a lot of other delicious foods. Take a pice of bread spread on butter and your topping of choice and you have a open-faced sandwich (smørrebrød).
